Travelling from the airport...
Juliana’s is only a 10 minutes cab ride away from the Juancho
Yrausquin Airport. As you travel from the airport and venture up
the winding road, you’ll pass Saban cottages and the villages
of Sunrise Ridge and Hell’s Gate. This side of the island
offers a great vantage point for viewing the neighboring islands,
such as: St. Maarten, St. Barths and St. Eustatius on a clear day,
one can see as far as Nevis.
Step
onto the dive boat...
With only a 15-minute drive from Juliana’s to the Captain
Leo Chance Pier (harbor), the taxi driver will take you on a scenic
tour of the island before taking your first step onto the dive boat.
The winding road that leads down to Fort Bay is a marvel all of
its own, well known as the “Road That Could Not Be Built”,
but no worries, you are in the capable hands of experienced drivers.
